Well I did a very bad thing today. I change the oil, cleaned the K&N and change the plugs. Everything was fine. The only problem that I had was related to my oil filter. It seems that I used a very big oil filter wrench to remove the filter and it was rather cumbersome. I had alot of trouble with it getting behind the filter but in the end it worked. I thought everything was fine. Started the engine to check for any leaks and none were detected. Again assuming everything was fine. Pulled the car into the driveway and again noticed not oil leaking. Later that night my wife and I went out to get a Christmas tree( this is was the third attempt) and shortly after leaving the house noticed the oil sensor light coming on. I quickly turned off the engine and pulled over into Len Stoler Cadillac. I then opened the hood and smoked came out. Looked under the hood and oil seems to be coming out of the front of the car from the oil filter. I grabbed a rag and wipe the filter clean only to see no oil coming out. Then checked the oil level and none was in the car. Now I'm glad that I use Mobil 1 every 3k. Asked to have a mechanic take a look at the car but none were to be found. I ended up just leaving the car at the dealership with an overnight slip to have them look at the car in the morning. I also fear that they my not look at the car being that they are not a Saab dealership. Also the only person that I did run into from the dealer suggest to me that I just drive the car home because I had Mobil one in it. My wife then asked why not. I then explained that yes the car engine should be fine but the turbo also runs off the oil and why push our luck with damaging the engine. Needless to say I now do not feel comfortable with leaving the car at the dealership but have already left behind my keys with a work slip. Damn this sucks.

As for my luck I already know of a 2.3L engine that can be dropped in if needed for a very reasonable price (you hear me Eric) but hopefully I won't need it. This sucks and I was just talking about add the oil gauge today. I think that it is a must for the car now.

I'll keep you guys posted on my progress.
