Replacing the battery on the NG900 turbo is easy (can't speak for non-turbo, but is probably the same). You will need the radio code, owners manual, remote locking fob, wrenches, and a socket set with a long (8-inch or so) extension.

First remove the Negative (-) cable from the battery terminal. Then remove the Positive (+) cable from the battery terminal. I think it takes a 12 or 13mm open end wrench for the battery cable bolts. An adjustable wrench will do.

Remove and throw away the battery cover/insulator (if there is one). It probably won't fit the new battery anyway (definitely won't fit the Optima battery).

Using a long extension on a socket wrench, remove the hold down clamp located at the bottom of the battery, at the front of the battery tray.

Remove the battery. If things are nice and clean, great. If not, clean the battery tray with a wire brush and baking soda then prime the tray, etc. Also check the battery cables for signs of corrosion especially from under the vinyl cable coating. Replace if needed.

Clean the new batteries terminals well, and clean the battery cable clamps well, using sandpaper or a wire brush.

Install new battery and install battery clamp.

Install Positive (+) battery cable, then install Negative (-) battery cable.

Start car. Input radio code, set stations, clock, etc.

Stop car. Press key fob a couple times to intialize the locking system.

Done.

Easy, huh. :^)

Oh, you might want to get some battery terminal covers from the local auto parts store to make everything pretty.
