have the original ignition switch in your car, I would have that one replaced just for the hell of it.

You car is dirt simple to fault trace though since you have no spark at any times. Usually it's the intermittent problems that throws the mechanic for a loop, especially when they happen every blue moon. If the problem is solid, you only need to go from known to unknown until the fault is found.

It would probably take less than an hour to find the culprit, but it would take me hours and hours of writing and thinking to be able to repair it remotly, especially if you don't have the parts replaced or checked out that we suggest in earlier posts.

This time it might even be the CKP sensor (even though they don't break often), but that one can be checked by hooking a labscope up and study the wave form it creates.

You might have to find a good Saab mechanic with a Tech 2 and a labscope for this one.
