OK, let's be reasonable here... You're out of warranty right? How far out of warranty are you??

Typically, Saab WILL extend some courtesy if you're a few thousand miles past the 50,000 mile warranty (maybe up to 60 or 70K), but that's usually only if you're the original owner and you've had all the routine service done at the dealership. If you bought the car used and have been DIY'ing the service yourself, or getting it done at an independent, then they're not really gonna extend any favors... (Can you BLAME them?)

As for the SID's with dying pixels... Yeah, they ALL do that. Honestly! Do a search here or just scroll down and you'll see many people with the same problem (and there is a DIY fix for it too). Yes, this shouldn't happen on a 40K car, but that's what happens when Saab farms out the production of something to Lucas! (You are familiar with Lucas right? <Insert joke here>)
