These tools can be useful in the shop as well as during road emergencies, so I carry them along with a few key spare parts.

Top: Hammer to persuade fuel pump to run. Baseball bat also works. Below it: Tool to assist in threading new serp belt around lower pulleys without removing inner fender panel. Bottom: old plugs& wire to test DI. If one cylinder dead, unplug inj.

Serp belt tensioner compressor
Lower left: Old plug ground to work as adaptor so Saab plug wrench can drive 9/16" deep socket. Compressor details in next picture. Wood block (3/4" thick) keeps floor jack from bending jack point tabs.

Fuel Pump Nut adaptor
Use steel strip stock; drill& tap for bolt with 19mm head; weld it in. Turn with 19mm lug wrench. center-right: closeup of drive adaptors for tensioner compr.
