I love digital climate control, my wife hates it. I love power seats, my wife could care less. I love sunroofs, my wife never uses ours, she drives our '93 900S Vert on sunny days. Gotta' have heated seats in either one and the Arc ACC allows multiple temp settings, the Linear just cycles on and off. Front foglights are useless decorations IMO. A 175hp Linear is still a powerful car and just as, or a little livelier around town, how fast you gonna' go? You gotta' be pretty familiar with Saabs to tell an Arc from a Linear and 2003 Launch Package Linears or 2004 premium package Linears blurs that.
For 2005 there is a definite lease advantage to a Linear beyond the price difference, or at least until the January programs come out tomorrow.
I think the preference depends most on whether your moving up or moving down from your old car and what you're used to.
Infotainment is the name for a 9-3SS radio with a menu screen in the radio, instead of the info being displayed only in the SID binnacle. The Infotainment has twice as many presets and some other menu functions, which ain't always a good thing, overly complicated IMO. Infotainment can be either 7 speaker 150 what, 2003 Launch Package Linears and 2004 Arc Verts, or 300 watt 13 speaker setups in the Vectors, all Aeros and Arc sedans. For 2005 Arc Verts get the 300 watt 13 speaker setup.
