'03 9-3 SS: What service(s) do I really need?

Hey all,
First off - great board. I've lurked for a while and learnt quite a bit.
Now, my question: I have a 2003 9-3 (SS) with ~25k miles. While I've done an oil change and the first service when the system reminded me, I haven't done anything else. I recently noticed that my engine isn't "purring" as quietly as it used to, and Saab's Online Owner Center mentions that I should get the following service items done:
15k:
Brake Pad Inspection (I've had them checked earlier b/c they were squeaking.)
Cabin Air Filter Replacement
Engine Coolant Inspection
Tire Rotation (I switch snows on and off every season, so I assume this gets done when I switch...)
20k:
Battery Terminal Maintenance (20k)
This being my first wholly-owned car, I'm not sure about proper "maintenance." Should I go in and get all these other items checked (aka cabin air filter, engine coolant, battery terminal maintenance)? Are there any I can do myself? (I don't have any tools or experience, but I'm eager to learn.)
Thanks!
Dave
