I did the euro delivery on my '00 9-5. It was one of the best experiences I had (certainly the best car buying experiences) and I would do it again. At the time, even the euro delivery price was negotiable. We spent two weeks cruising around. Trolhatten, Gothenburg, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Hamburg, across northern Germany thru Bremen, and down through the Netherlands to Amsterdam. Left the car with the shipper and stayed in Amsterdam for a few days. Flew home and 6 weeks later got my car at the dealer. They even detailed it and cleaned it for delivery.
