I have found this BB to be most helpful, and hope that the following info regarding my recent lease of a 9-3 will provide some info and help others who may be considering a new 9-3 lease.

The car is a 05 Linear , w/ auto., metallic paint heated seats and moonroof, for a MSRP of $31140. I paid $2999 down, with payments of $237/month for 36months and 36000 miles. The security deposit was waived, and these figures do not include tax.

The dealer immediately took $3500 off, and gave me $750 off because of Saab loyalty (1997 9000 CSE owner -- great car), and then without much prompting from me took the payment down from $269 to the above-mentioned $237, so that it seemed to me that the "sale" price of the car was actually about $25500. the bottom line is a great deal on a great car.

The dealer, Armen-Main Line , seemed eager even a little desparate to do the deal. All I had to say was "no" and they sweetened the terms right away, even calling me at home after I left the dealer.

All of this being said , I really like the car.The steering, handling and brakes are awesome, the seats are very comfortable and the controls are easy to use, and the car is real quick and sporty. I had looked at the Volvo s60, and Audi A4, and the value of the new 9-3 beats those cars easy.
