2003 9.3 SS ARC, gas gauge

With temps around zero degrees today, I was driving to work on a full tank of gas and my gas gauge decided to drop to empty about 25 miles into my 50 mile trip. Anyone have this happen before? I restarted the car when I got to work and the gage went back to normal level…Ideas?
