The 'cause' is always the same, engine is cold (within first 5 min of driving), speed between 35-40mph. Take it out of gear and coast... BAM bye bye engine. It only happens maybe 1 out of 10 mornings, but that is more than enough to make us uncomfortable driving this vehicle.
This is quoted from your original post. Was the dealer able to duplicate the condition? "Maybe 1 out of 10" is tough odds for a dealer to be able to duplicate.
Kinda' reminds of folks who have a brake squeak issue. You can't tell 'em to use 'em harder. Can't tell you not to coast or leave it in gear. Even if it is the best solution.
