The tire pressure monitor is in the valve stem and I don't see how mounting and unmounting the tire would involve the valve stem. The tires are under warranty by the tire manufacturer so it might be prudent to use a place that is a dealer for the brand of tires your have in case the leak is caused by a defect instead of a road hazard.
A defective tire will be replaced 100% no charge up to 12 mos. After that they are still in warranty but will be prorated.
There's no road hazard warranty. Punctures are at your expense.
