No other reported problems. We've had four bat's in our 99 9-5SE, with the current unit about two years old now (the longest one to date).
What about the 'to jump, or not to jump' question on the 9-3SS's? Does anyone know if it is OK to jump?
As short battery life seems to be a factual way of life on the newer Saab's, does anyone know if the Optima's (SP?) last longer? They have a Blue 34D (I think that was the unit) at our local Costco... I'll do a little surfing on TSN to see if this unit will work for either car.
They were also able to take care of my seat belt recall, and rotate the tires for me, while they had the car. I was surprised to be charged for the tire rotation, as they advertise the car as 'free service'. I will re-read the warranty to see what it says about 'free service'.
Still love the car, safety, unique style, and the spooling turbo!
Regards to all,
9-3/9-5 Smitty
