I have the same car with about 10K miles. I've started noticing noise of some sort from the driver door - may be coming from all of them but from my point of reference that's the one I can hear. Don't know if it's the same groaning you get. I think there are some DIY fixes to noises in this car but through the first 10K I haven't had any rattles or noises annoying enough to take the car apart to find. I believe there are points at which you can place felt pads to alleviate some of the noises from the door.

My tire pressure monitors gave me trouble until I inflated the tires closer to the recommended 41psi, I think around 38psi. I had them at about 34-36 when I was having troubles last winter, and it was worse on colder days. This also helps with rim protection. I also will be looking for a slight upgrade in comfort when I replace the Pirellis, even if it means slightly less grip - I don't test the limits that often. I think I might get one more rotation out of these at 15K but perhaps not, and if not that's OK too.

As far as more oomph, there are open air filters that replace the stock airbox as well as drop in sport filters. Most people say the open air is louder if you want that but doesn't offer any better performance than the drop ins. The drop-in seems (no real evidence) to accelerate the spool up of the turbo as well as give the engine a deeper growl. I have the JR drop-in from Genuine SAAB.

To really increase the power in this car aftermarket tuning from several vendors is now available. I got the BSR Stage 1 PPC which takes it to 247hp/286tq for about $850. It is a user reversible software only upgrade. I can detune for dealer visits.

Send me an email if you want more details. Welcome and enjoy your new car!
