Well, I'm very happy with premium (93) in my car at this time.
I have also switched to 89 just for the heck of it, and the maual says I can use anything 89 and above.
my observations: ful econ is the same. I do fing the car not as snappy with 89 though. But, in cooler weather it may be fine - the times I have used it, the temps were in the 90's with 80-90% humidity - not good for the intercooler.
We'll see later on in the fall.
(in other news, my '02 9-5 2.3lpt runs fine on mid-grade all year, redgardless of weather conditions)
