Hi Everyone,
I just picked up my '05 9-3 silver Linear today (my first car w/ manual transmission)! What a fabulous car!
I just have 2 simple questions.
First of all, I notice that when I step on the brakes, I can hear a soft hydrolic, swooshing sound. It doesn't sound bad, but is this normal on the 9-3?
Also, I've been practicing manual transmission, especially getting started on big hills. This afternoon, I stalled in first gear at the top of the hill, and I let the car roll back about 20 feet in first gear. As a result, it jerked while rolling down the hill. How bad is this for the car? Did I damage my transmission?
Thanks.
Peter
