I really want to like my 9-3SS, 2004. It seems every time I take the car on a long trip something major goes wrong. I've gone thru 3 headlight bulbs in less than 6 months, and get this, on Memorial Day weekend, the car just died in a parking lot..immobilizer failure, key not recognized. Dealer said it needed a new battery..in less than 2 years?? So the other day, I'm back from vacation, washing the car, cleaning the wheels, after doing the windows (it's now July 4th weekend), I go to the store, shut it off, go to start it again, and immobilizer failure..key not accepted, and steering lock failure...again, towed to the dealership, they're closed until Tuesday.

My first thought is that there is a major electrical system issue with this car and I want to trade it in...I'M NOT HAPPY HERE! Left my salesman a message on his cellphone..going to chat with him on Tuesday...I'm just thoroughly disgusted..love driving the car, but with about 15k left on the warranty, I'm dreading keeping it! I've had VW's for 20 years and not ever had these types of problems..it sucks! Luckily, I've not been more than 10 min. away from home when this stuff happens..but I travel allot, and am just dreading it happening out of state.

Someone help....any thoughts? Should I demand that they take the car back? CPO it?

I shouldn't want to trade in a car less than 6 months after buying it..should I?????
