My dealer told me they've had several go bad on '03 9-3's this summer in the higher temps. At least ours died in our garage, so the inconvenience was minor, and it didn't cost me a dime.

My lease is up in February, I might have had a different view if I had to come up with $135 for a battery on a car with 24k miles.
