I'm a weakling. When things are tight, I grunt and scrape my knuckles. However, I found putting lights in a 05 Linear moderately easy.
1. For my car, the wiring was in place. Just put in the switch and lights and get the dealer to make a Tech II software change (free at some dealers).
2. You can put the lights in without taking off the bumper skin. This is very hard. Lots of tight spots, grunts, frustration though it's been reportedly done.
3. Remove the plastic lower skid plate by removing the bolt in the wheel well and about 4 in the front bottom and about 2 in the bottom near the side. Side plate slightly back. It will hang by an electrical wire (which can be unplugged or not).
4. Taking off the bumper cover is easy. Push down the center to remove the 5 or 6 black fasteners near the top over the grille. Remove 3 bolts per side in each wheel well. Using your hand pull and pry the cover outward on the side. The whole cover then falls to the floor.
5. Look at what you have to do. Squeeze some tabs to remove the blank plates. You also have to squeeze the lower middle grille some. The lights slip in, then screw them in with the supplied bolts. I got 3 bolts per side but only 2 put in. The 3rd one did not have a screw to put the bolt in.
A pro could do this in 30 minutes. An idiot like me took 90 minutes though I carefully cataloged on paper which screw came out of where.
