Well, i figured that my P6 Pirrelis won't lass the 36K lease, so why not upgrade the tires early on. Did some research and went with Bridgestone Turanzo LS-Z tires at 235/50/17. This is up from the stock 224/45/17. My main goal was to

1: reduce the front spoiler scraping
2:better ride/bump absorption
3:better wet/snow traction
4: better millage
5:keep as much of the original handling.

Overall, here are the results:

FIT:
It's close. VERY close. So far, no rubbing and the installer says it should be OK. One of my main goals was to keep the front spoiler from scraping. The tires have increased the front and rear by a net of .6", which makes a diffeence. Tires have an overall 1.2" of extra height. So far, the exit out of my office parking lot no longer scrapes :-) The big test will be my in-law's driveway which is very steap.

APPEARANCE:
they do look a little odd at first. The tires are noticable wider and taller, and with the lowered suspension, the fender wells looked filled up. No one else really noticed the difference, in fact, I'm starting to get used to it. Just a little different than before.

RIDE QUALITY:
Much better. You still hear the bumps, but not as seveer as before. If I went for a higher performance tire, like the Potenzas, I'm sure if would be different. Part of my goal was a better ride and hopefully lasting as long as the lease, which the Turanzo's will do. I do think the struts are the biggest cause of the harsh ride, but the tires do help. My wife notices the most, and that's what matters for our situation (she drives the car!)

HANDLING:
Not as tight as before. I do notice more sway, probably due to the sidewalls being taller. Still, I can take turns as fast as before, just not as tight. The car needs to be aligned, for the height did effect the way it tracks. Again, a better performance tire would handle better, but millage would suffer.

WEATHER:
Rain and snow should be better, but we've haven't had much of either. TireRack.com's rating for both were excellent. P6 were quite poor.
