Hurricane Katrina: Lexus RX330 VS Saab Viggen Convertib

Here's a real life occurance that I thought I would pass along here on these boards. I'm in Miami where we were recently smacked by Hurricane Katrina. Because of a huge ficus tree covering the street in my local 'hood, area residents had to cut across thick grass, which turned into thick mud (like almost one foot worth). I passed the thick mud about four times with the Viggen in order to get back to my then electricity lacking house. It was pretty fun actually as it was a good 15 yards of rally, mud shreddin' driving, lol. Anyways, the one time I took my Lexus RX330 instead, it got STUCK!!! With all of the electronic shit it has (ESC, VSC, EBD, BLAH BLAH BLAH), anytime the wheel would slip (which in mud was always), the gas was cut, only digging itself deeper in mud. Lol, all of these chimes kept on going off, the fuse box kept on clicking...i was stuck in mud in an "SUV". To make matters worse, I backed up the Viggen into the mud, tied thick rope from the Viggen's hitch (for my jet ski) to the Lexus hitch (for the boat) and had to TOW THE LEXUS SUV out of the MUD with the Viggen! My father tapped the gas in reverse as the Saab pulled it out, wheel spin and all.
The Saabo got a nice, delicious car wash immediately after. The Lexus is still in dry mud...its punished!
