Tech II changes

So my 05' 93 ownership is coming to about 30 days now, and I want to bring it into the dealership to have some Tech II changes programmed. I have spoken to my dealer and inquired about turning off DRL's and changing the setting to "Rest of World", and allowing doors to lock automatically after driving off and unlocking when removing key. He told me the service Dept. said that they couldnt turn off DRL's because of insurance reasons. I wondered if i would alert my insurance that i was turning off DRL's and give up my small 15 dollar safety discount, if that would matter...he said they still wont do it, and i should maybe try another dealership. What is up with that? First off all, my insurance didnt automatically give me the DRL discount off the bat, i had to tell them about it and then fax over a copy of the sticker that stated the standard features as proof. So basically Geico wasnt even aware of this fact---and the dealership STILL couldnt turn off DRL's? I find that hard to believe! I also had asked him if they could give me a list of all of the TECH II changes that are available( I know there is a post on this website listing them all, but i want my dealer to do SOME work considering he keeps calling me asking if everything is ok because he wants a good review)--He said a list of all possible changes are in the owners manual--I dont remember seeing anything like that and ive read the manual cover to cover--Anyone have any thoughts about this, and also any suggestions as to what Tech II changes they have made and which changes are most helpful
