Alot of you have probably read the dreadful and unfair review of the 9-3 aero with the new V6 turbo. One of the highlights (there were few, bastards) was the 0-60 time of 6.4 seconds, in 108F weather! This is clearly quicker than the Viggen. We all know how heat kills turbo boosting. In fact, C&D noted turbo lag in their review. This is probably because of the heat during testing. Here in Miami I easily shave a second off my 0-60 times in my Viggen from day to night just because of the lag produced by the heat and humidity during the day.
I think that 0-60 time in 6.4, considering the extreme heat, is very very significant. Do you folks think we may even see <6.0 seconds in ideal conditions? And please, spare me the "that's not representive of a performance car" bologna, nothing beats the thrill of initial acceleration coming out of a corner on the track.
Cheers everyone
