Yes folks, it has happened. A 20 year old girl crossed over 2 lanes to exit on the right without looking, and crushed my front left quarterpanel and bumper and scraping the rim. She said she looked and didnt see anyone, wherein I gave her a drivers ed lesson on what a blind spot is and how to overcome them by actually TURNING and looking! Anyway, as much as it hurts to see my brand new 9-3 crushed (1500 miles), she admitted to the cops she didnt see me and she caused the accident, thus covering me fully without me having to pay a deductible or effecting my insurance premiums. My question is, where is the best place to take it, an independant Saab body shop, or the dealership? The car is leased, and I want it fixed so it is like new...What do you guys think, and does anyone have any experience with this kind of thing. I've never gotten into an accident b4, especially with a leased car.
