It was in back in April 2005 but I compared the 9-3 Aero Convertable to the BMW 330 and the Audi A4. In fact I dove the test vehicle from one manufacturer to the next leaving the "test drive" Saab 9-3 with each of the competition. Anyway, I found that the Audi dash and driver leg room was very narrow and offered "humm drum" style. (I am 5'11, 222 lbs so you will have to adjust for you body type). Also, the Audi and BMW radio controls were so low that you had to take your eye off the road in order to tune in a station, or deal with the A/C controls and (or) other dash features. The Saab wins hands down in this area. Remember the other two are rear wheel drive and faster in the long run. However, I made my choice based on the fact there is no "Autobaun" here in the U.S. unless you live in the California desert. I live in San Diego where it is more important to have the best designed rag top in the industry.
