http://www.stenaline.com is the website. The ferry leaves from Gothenburg daily (i think, check schedule) around 7pm and arrives in Kiel Germany the next morning about 9am. I paid about US$210 for a spot and a cabin for two. You can't buy tickets for this route on the english language portion of the site. You need to buy them on the Swedish language version. If you are patient and have the help of a translation site, you can work your way though buying the proper tickets in Swedish. I did and speak only about 10 words of Swedish.
Word of advice - buy your dinner from a grocery store or shop before boarding. The "Smorgasbord" on the ferry is not worth the money. The quality level was about equivalent to that found in a high school cafeteria - edible but not particularly enticing.
