Total drive offs vs down.... Posted by Mike Lynch [Email] ![]() ![]() In Reply to: Lease deals for 9-3 Sportcombi, AlexP, Sun, 29 Jan 2006 19:46:00 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Does the $3,000 down include any other drive offs such as 1st payment, acquisition fee, tax, license and registration? The factory muddles this distinction by advertising $2,999 "due at signing" which is $2,105 down payment/cap reduction plus $299 1st payment plus $595 acquisition fee and furthermore that grows to about $3,500 total drive offs in SoCal after tax and license is added. And how much are the taxes on that $359 payment.
Overall sounds very good, better with $3,000 total drive offs, but still great I think with $3,000 down, but more specifics are required as outlined above.
If by a little over $200 a month you mean $299 with $2,999 due at signing then fine, the extra SportCombi price and equipment is the difference. I've seen some dealers advertise unfair payment with huge drive offs to make a price point like $200 and other Saab dealers advertise a GM Employee price like everyone qualified.
