A buy back or exchange is a legal process so I suggest you contact an attorney for a consultation and to understand the buy back laws in your state. Two stalls and 3 weeks in the shop doesn't meet the buy back threshold IIRC. There comes a point where you have a legal right to ask for your money and attorney fees back and you are most of the way there so understand where that point is. It has to do with safety defects and attempts to fix as well as time in the shop. Meanhwile it's doubtful that any manufaturer including Saab is going to facilitate the buy back process for you.
As for the actual problem and the loss of confidence there's no controlling that. Has the service department found an actual problem to fix, that is will it stall for them? Losing the fire, stalling, so to speak can be a safety issue. Does it start right back up or require a tow? If it took the service department twice to get it right, that they actually diagnosed "the" problem, then I would be confident it's fixed and fixed right. I'm not sure a I wanna' hear the story actually, but best of luck to you
