I apologize-I think you misunderstood my intentions. My comments of the comparo are solely directed towards the track test results of braking and skidpad, due (IMO) to SAAB's choice of tires for the V6 Aero (my original argument).

I relate those test results directly to the tires. Previous 9-3SSs tested by C&D IIRC have stopped in the 170ft range and had better skidpad results (comparable to the competition in the comparo).

I have an '06 Aero SC and think it's fantastic, regardless what C&D (or any other car mag) says. I also switched the all season tires on my Aero SC to Goodyear F1 GS-D3s (ranked best in a recent C&D test and near the top in Tire Rack test reviews and online readers' surveys).
