In reference to the TL--My brother was a fan of it for a few years now. He has had Acuras for the past 12 years ranging from Integras to the TL. He has said he likes them, but i never got the impression that he loves them. It was more like the overall quality and fit and finish and packages just always seemed to fit what he wanted for a decent price. To me the TL seems boring. His 03 TL is pretty ugly in my opinion, the 06 just slightly better, with the overall Honda look going on.I've driven his Integras and the TL. The TL felt strong and comfortable, but again, boring. He seems to like the 330xi much more, but of course now we are discussing a different class of car and different price range---$150 more per month than he was paying for the 03' TL is a big difference. But thats going from a solid family sedan to a a fine piece of performance machinery, and he even stated that the BMW was meant to be DRIVEN not just cruised in like the TL. He had to pay much more for packages(nav, etc) that wouldve come either standard in the TL or much cheaper. BMW wants you to worry about driving first, then luxury and comfort second. However, I wouldn't trade my 05' Arc for a TL. I looks wayyyyy better, is wayyyyy more fun to drive, and it doesnt make me feel like an old man. The new TL is an improvement looks wise but it doesnt even come close to the Saab. But don't get me wrong, I would still love to have the seamless XM and Navigation and the interior fit and finish of the TL. Why can't we have it all? We may one day, but not at this price. I bet the next gen. 9-3 will have this stuff and improvements such as these, but the sticker will go up and some people may not be happy.
