The dealer installed XM Commander unit slots under the CD changer. In my car, the connection is routed through the center console and out the coin holder. The stereo jack plugs into the AUX in. It seems most dealer installs of the XM Commander are wired this way. The XM antenna is wired along the R side of the car and the antenna is situated behind the unused shark antenna.

You can unplug it if you want to connect your iPod (other MP3 player).
