anyone with wheel balance issues?

I have an '05 Arc convertible equipped with the 17 inch wheel package with Pirelli P6 all season tires. The car has only 7000 miles on it and was driving perfect. Then I got a nail in my left front tire and it has opened up a can of worms. After repairing the nail, the tires were not balanced to my liking, with slight vibration in the steering wheel at 65 mph plus. I went to discount tire and they roadforced it, told me the tire was bad and I purchased a new one. After 6 more attempts at various tire shops, including tire rotations from front to rear, I have not solved the problem. The Saab dealer did the best job with their roadforce machine, also noting that the wheels (rims) are true and NOT bent, but I still have a slight vibration or tire hop at 65 mph plus. Dealer thinks it may be a tire problem. I have been reading many negative reviews about the Pirelli's and I'm thinking about getting four new Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires. Anyone else having tire problems with Pirelli?
