Traction Control Failure

This happened again on my 93 Aero and dealer replaced battery and then the ESP control module.
Noticed this happened when trying to restart the car when the engine is hot and that made starting the car impossible. It goes away if I let the engine cools down a bit. Really strange. Looks like the complete ESP unit has to go.
Any idea or similar experience and solution?
