$299 for 27 months at 12,000 miles per year with $2,999 due at signing, plus any applicable local tax, lic and doc fees. That describes a 2006 9-3 2.0T with automatic and metallic paint, MSRP $28,520, with a very healthy discount. The SportCombi pricing is exactly the same as the sedan, just $1,000 more and you want a car with a stick, but no roof and cold package, an unusual combination here in SoCal so your lease should be comparable. Rates and residuals are the same for sedans and SportCombis.

Advertised leases can be brain death, that is when you get to the dealer that car is not availible and the ones availible are all more and what the customer wanted was less, not more. Your also looking for an unusual car, stick, no roof and only cold combine incrementally to limit the selection of cars. Add acceptable colors to that and there may not be a car that isn't half way across the country.

The 27 month payment is the cheapest payment by far, residual is 70% for 27 12k at 27 months, rate is around 4%, depending on the security deposit situation. The 27 mos is interesting, the residual is only 1% less than 24 mos, but the term changes by 12.5% making the overall payment significantly (10% ish?) lower. Other residuals are 36 mos at 12k is 57% and 48 mos 12k is 44%. A 27 mos lease also keeps you relatively inside the requirement for tires and brakes and completely inside the free scheduled maintenance terms.

So to extrapolate, if you want the $299 payment without the $2,999 due at signing, spreading the $2,999 over the lease term, then 2,999/27=111, so add about $111 to the payment.
