Kol- Do you know what you are looking for regarding 'frequency capping' to the rear speakers, or you are just exploring to see what you can find? I have an '03 9-3 Arc with the 300w, 13 speaker sound system and it is definitely tuned to provide a front soundstage. Several people here have replaced the rear speakers with better quality units but I keep thinking that the rear speaker are no worse than the front speakers, and that the EQ to the rear is just somehow limited to allow the front of the system to remain dominant. I figured this would be a hard-coded software setting, but if you find something external/visible to the rear speakers that can be removed, by all means let us know. Since the rear speakers on the 300w/13 speaker system have their own amp, don't you think the 'limiter' would be in the back where the amp is located? Perhaps you have the lower wattage system that only has one amp.
