Buying an 03 in any color would be a mistake unless you have extended warranty. My wife's 03 Vector has been nothing but problems. Had it towed out of the driveway last Monday due to an acceleration problem. This was the third time that I've had to have it towed from my own driveway for this particular problem.
Service manager said each time it has been a different part that needed replacemnt, not a good sign. On top of that, while the car was there they damaged the door and are in the process of repainting it, I know not the cars fault. They did give us a loaner which we still have so I can't complain about that.
So if you are considering an 03 I would highly recommend an extended warranty
Without the warranty on her car I would be bankrupt by now. Make sure you have roadside assistance/AAA also,
PS: The service manager said I would be crazy to keep this car after the warranty runs out, car has 35k on it and we are currently looking at new cars to replace it...even Saabs....I must be crazy
