Good catch on the thermal insulation- that would be easily overlooked in the new car exuberance period. If I would have fully read your first post you did mention the loose trim rattles. ;^) My '03 Arc 6 speed has the door panel rattle in the driver's door and sometimes the passenger side also. My passenger side door handle faded to gray but none of the others. I guess I should get these things fixed before I turn it in at lease end- lol.

Do you feel the Aero suspension with 17" alloys has a better ride than your '03 Arc with 16" alloys? Does the sound system still drop out when faded all the way to the rear? I know the rear subwoofer is supposed to help with the bass deficiency. My 6 speed is sometimes a little notchy from 2-3, 3-2, and 2-1, but it's usually smooth under harder acceleration. How's the new 6 speed? Sorry for all of the questions but I'm considering making the same leap- '03 Arc to Aero SC.
