It is known that SAAB only planned to import 3000 SportCombis to the US for '06. Anyway, I spoke to the 9-3 marketing manager (who was the weekend's host) at the Aero Academy I attended 3 weeks ago, and he confired that number-and said that 80% of Sportcombis coming to the US are 2.0Ts (leaving 20% Aeros).
Do the math, and that's 600 Aero SCs. :p
He said that the 9-3 Sportcombi is currently selling at 250 units a month (on target), second only to the V50 (and more than the A4 Avant).
He also said that there are about 3000 Convertibles coming to the US for '06, but 70% of them are 2.0Ts (leaving 30% Aeros)-so the there are more Aero Convertibles than Aero SCs.
