Mike, your are right about cold package which this Aero is equipped with. We did speak with sales and his manager this morining about a more attractive price and told them that we are also shopping for a CLK350. We were told that this is value pricing and that the SAAB cabs that they have left in the lot pretty much will sell themselves. They did dropped another $400, so the $46,500 is the final out-the-door price.
My daughter originally wanted the 330ci which was quoted for $47,000 [also same price as the Aero] with nav, sports pkg, 18's and blue top, but her brother already has an 05' BMW cab, so that's out. In our opinion and experience, the Aero cab just isn't priced competitively enough against the BMW and MB cabs, which we feel are better cars to begin with. For me as a Saaber, the Aero cab is a tough sell, and even tougher for my daughter. Looks like we'll be going to MB this weekend for the CLK350. Thanks again for your input.
