2003-2005 oil life monitor is 2yrs or upto 15000mls. Cars that come in to our dealership close to 15k most have low oil, 2 have arrived because low oil press light came on. None have leaks. 2006 oil life monitor is 1yr or approx 10kmls, unless dealer reset the days when car was delivered, time for svce will show before 1yr. All 2006 have been ok for oil level and oil was still
ok cond. There is no change to 2003-2005 monitors. suggest you ck./add oil to those model year cars as needed. change oil at 7500ml intervals between oil monitor messages. This engine while GM rather than Saab design has been completely reliable.
