If it is too much draw you might not know until years from now.
Not even Saab knows how to design a light circuit strong enough as has been evidenced by the C900 conv and sedan that was notorious to melt the ground pin on circuitboard and an extra ground wire had to be added to car body.
Just because it doesn't pop the fuse right away doesn't mean it's not putting extra steady load on the circuitry and will slowly degrade a crimp connection or ground circuit.
The NG900 is now old enough and we see more and more caved in tail light lenses from the heat of brake light bulb (just like the Volvo 200/700 series).
This of course might only be an issue in really hot climates with lots of stop and go traffic (read Los Angeles) and most of the rest of the world might not have the same problem?
