Oct 24 plus 2-10 working days.... Posted by Mike Lynch [Email] (#81) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Mike Lynch) on Tue, 24 Oct 2006 12:17:34 In Reply to: IDS Delivery Stateside, Barry Burton, Sun, 22 Oct 2006 21:02:10 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Your car has an ETA at the dealer, which is likely somewhat later than the arrival at the port. Is the 10/24 date the ships arrival at the port or the ETA to the dealer specified in the delivery docs?
The important thing to realize is that the ETA has a 2-10 day window to it. It can be difficult to asses the exact location of an IDS car as they are outside of the normal loop as they need to be cleared by customs for one reason.
Tracking cars on the ship is much easier than once they get to the port. Some folks have gotten frustrated at the lack of accountability once the car hits the port.
