It is a new TSB out about coolant contamination Posted by SWEDECAR [Email] ![]() ![]() ![]() In Reply to: Transmission Failure in 2003 Linear, Steve T., Mon, 30 Oct 2006 06:55:14 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I lost the number for it but it said that some 2003 and 04 had problems with the two fittings that attaches transmission oil cooler lines to the radiator.
As you might have read, several of the transmission failures has been attributed to coolant contamination.
The TSB explained what VIN was affected and how to replace those two fittings in the radiator.
This is kind of a low cost alternative to replacing the whole radiator since the two fittings are already installed into the radiator from factory when buying a new radiator.
