I concur. I think what most of us regret is that Saab is losing its unique character and become just another piece of the automotive pie. Putting the key between the seats does NOT make the car a Saab. Its certainly a part of the recipe, but there are many more things to add before a Saab comes out of the oven. In fact, my first two Saabs didn't have a key between the seats (they were V4s) and they were still Saabs. Saabs have evolved a lot since then and I would like to see what would have happened in the absence of GM, but with funding available. In other words, take away the GM parts bin.
