Cheaper payment on the lease..... Posted by Mike Lynch [Email] ![]() ![]() In Reply to: lease another one or buy my lease-end, kydonian, Tue, 21 Nov 2006 19:06:23 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
No right answer, but some things to consider. If you had one of those super, super cheap Linear leases and you put the $2,999 due at signing, you'll be disappointed in the new payment although it will still be cheaper than financing the $16k plus fees. $17k ish is likely $350 a month for 5 year financing and that's on a car without the CPO, will your dealer CPO the car for $1,500ish?, maybe that'll qualify you for a cheap rate too. And do you wanna' finance a 2 year old car for 5 years?
The '07 2.0Ts are vastly improved over your 2.0t, power, features, finally bitchin' tunes, same or better economy, and the new lease comes with free maintenance again. Short term lease payment, little down, lease loyalty, low to mid $300's, and remember, a whole bunch more car.
If you do decide to buy your lease work the dealer. It might be one of those times where the dealer buy out is considerably less than the customer buyout and they might fade. Tricky negotiation to find out if they will. Email me and I'll give you the off the record dirty trick for that.
