Well first, not until you've driven a V6 Aero. You'll can buy one of them for only 10-15% more, the residual is IMHO somewhat high on your '05 compared to some of the end of the year $8-10k off pricing I've heard about on '06 Aeros, that come with the Aero Academy too! As you are forced to buy in either case.
But a high residual is a good thing and what you leased for in the first place. Ask the dealer to get a dealer buy out. I wouldn't think an '05 Aero would get desirable until it was around $20k. Maybe Saab or the dealer will fade when reality creeps in, or maybe they bought residual insurance and don't care, but above and below still apply.
And likely you can lease an '07 with the killer new Bose for a lower payment than a $24k anything, maybe one of the sport seat 60th Anniversary Editions or an Aero or whatta'bout a 9-5? I mean $24k is almost $500 a month for 60 months and if you think leasing was dumb, or maybe you don't, but then finance a 3 year old car for 5 more years and tell me how you feel after that. Endless car payments and you never get a new one is tha name of that tune.
