I have the 7" rims so it's either that or the non-lowered suspension that makes it OK. Notice that for 2007 that they now offer a 17" wheel package on the 9-3's with the 2.0 T. This is a quote describing it on the saabusa.com site...
"17" TWIN 5-SPOKE ALLOY WHEELS
Featuring 235/45 VR 17" all-season tires. (Optional on 2.0T; not available on Aero)
I don't know if they put some kind of steering angle restriction on it, but I'm guessing they don't. So now I believe that they are adovcating the set-up I already have.
