9-3 repair woes

I have a 2003 9-3SS Linear w/triptronic with 55K miles, no remaining warranty...not a CPO. I have noticed a clunking sound in the front end during low speed turns, my windshild wipers are intermittent, the transmission does funkey downshifts during heavy acceleration from 30-40MPH, and the radio unit is intermittent as well. Here is the repair estimate I have received from my local dealership:
For parts and labor from one of two local dealers:
Swaybar bushings: 153
Strut bearings: 241
Update transmission software: 93
Replace Infotainment Control Module: 526
Wipers: could not duplicate, no repair
Coolant consumption: could not duplicate, no repair
The coolant issue is a mystery...they contend that Saabs "just use coolant", but as someone with a pretty good mechanical system aptitude, I can't figure out where the fluid would go from a closed system. There are no apparent leaks. I had the car into the other dealer about 3 months ago for the transmission issue, and they indicated that it had the latest software. Bad customer service has motivated me to go to the dealer from whom I received today's quote but I'm not sure who to go after for the charge I now face. As background, I bought the car in June with 45K miles, and in the first month the following repairs were done, all under original warranty:
New alternator
New main cabin blower
New CD player unit
New sunroof assembly
Any thoughts?
