I ran into the same problem you did. The female Torx bolts (ie: the head of the bolt fits into a socket) that hold the caliper braket on are Loctited (is that a word) at the factory but once they are removed once it's easier for subsequent changes.
You will need to get a set of female Torx bits (not male)(I got mine at PartsSource in Canada for $30, NAPA didn't have them)and then as others suggest, get a breaker bar to torque the bolts out.
I'm just about to install my 2nd set of rotors & pads and expect that the bolts will be much easier to remove.
