Hello, I didn't specifically test drive the VW when I bought our 2006 93 Aero SC but here is my take. Bought new our 2006 SC in January 2007 for nearly $10,000 off sticker so price was primarily the driver in our choice. That being said, our car has all options available except for NAV and we are overall happy with the car. Dealer service experiences have been very poor. This may be a local problem in our area and I would check with people in your area. As buying and owning a car is about relationships, I would not over look this factor in your choice. I joined the SAAB owner's website and it sucks as well. I have not recieved my AERO school certificate and sent them an email as to how much longer, and never received a reply. As for the car, there are some parts that are kind of cheap and not consistant with other quality parts on the car. Furthermore, the extremly low front spoiler is a bit of headache in our area and road conditions. The car also squeaks more than one would expect in a near luxury car. Engine, transmission, stereo and overall features are good. Hope this helps!
